I Like the idea of hidden gems very much but it seems it contains almost the same stuff from the same dreamers we see every day at the Trending section.
Maybe limit the option to add a hidden gem from only users that are not in the top #50 or so?
Also, a dream already on trending is not a hidden one, I think.
Yeah, maybe the system should decide if it is hidden, and the person - if it is a gem. So perhaps just disable the button for recent or very liked dreams?
I would think that anything posted in the last week or so could hardly be considered 'hidden'.
And I agree about already much liked Dreams not sensibly being called 'hidden' Gems. I would think only Dreams with below say 30(?) likes at the time of nomination would register.
I suggest all current ones are deleted and start the hidden gems system over again.
Maybe Gem could be turned of automatically when a members image hits trending.
DDG - Once you have decided what criteria should be applied to nomination of Gems, could I also suggest that on viewing Gems the viewer could select: From Current Year, From year 2025, From year 2024. etc. I for one would be most interested to see Dreams buried in the dim distant past (!!), but never appreciated at the time.
