The author suggests that DDG could program the AI assistant to handle the judging. They note they have no idea if it is possible, but the idea has stuck with them and they keep thinking about it.
I think it needs more human interaction, not less :)
If more human interaction would be a solution i am for it. I also like to vote, but i also feel the issues that comes along with it. Maybe the solution lies somewhere in the middle. Keep the voting and do the assistant and bring the results together for a final result. I am just thinking in terms of what could be a way to go. Any thing that gives a solution has my preference.
Hi, AI isn't quite good enough for tasks like this, especially when the judgment is highly subjective. For now, it's much better to keep humans in the loop.
That said, we may use AI for more objective decisions, such as determining whether an image submitted to a Challenge is on-topic or off-topic.
