It is plausible that a small cult of them operating in the Mournland (the ashes of a destroyed nation) would take on a name like the "Lords of Ash." Appearance (The Rakshasa): When in their true form, they resemble humanoids with the heads and hands of tigers (or other great cats), with their hands inverted (palms facing backward). They often dress in silks and fine, high-quality clothing to present as nobles or wealthy merchants. When disguised (their most common state), they look like perfectly ordinary, often charming humanoids—ministers, nobles, guild leaders, or respected citizens—but their inverted hands are a subtle giveaway to those with magical sight. Symbol: The Lords of Dust do not have a single unified symbol, as they are not a monolithic organization. Instead, they use symbols of their specific Overlord, such as: A shadow or a dagger (for an Overlord of treachery). A stylized flame or war banner (for an Overlord of rage/war). Their sign is always one of subtle, ancient, and sinister magic, often tied to the Draconic Prophecy.
