I created this image as a proposal for DDG, suggesting that users should have the ability to conceal their prompts. This would help prevent the unconventional copy/paste technique, which is often accompanied by minor modifications to create the illusion that the content doesn't originate from a different user. Upon encountering a piece that resembled my own work, I felt a sense of happiness knowing that my creations were recognized and reproduced. However, this joy was fleeting: the individual in question merely copied the prompt, rearranged the words and sentences, and to give the illusion of originality, added one or two additional elements. This person's audacity was further demonstrated by claiming that the prompt is his/her's and that no one else is permitted to use it! As you can see, I am refraining from naming names, but I have no doubt this person will come across these words. I am not here to argue or scold anyone - after all, in my personal opinion, this platform promotes plagiarism with its 'Try it' button. Nevertheless, I have decided not to create anything further here to prevent anyone from copying my prompts again. I will reconsider my stance only if DDG provides the option to conceal the prompt, similar to what other platforms offer.
