More about The Garden of Eden - Genesis Chapter 2 Poem

In Eden's bliss, a paradise,
A garden flourished, beyond all price,
Genesis, the tale reveals,
Of God's creation, where life congeals.
With gentle care, the Lord of all,
Formed Adam from the earthly sprawl,
A man to till the fertile ground,
With wisdom and purpose, he was crowned.
Then from his rib, a woman made,
To be his partner, his loving aid,
A perfect union, side by side,
God's wondrous plan, now glorified.
In Eden's midst, a tree stood tall,
The Tree of Knowledge, its fruit enthrall,
A test of faith, a choice to make,
To follow God, or a new path take.
With boundless grace, the Lord bestowed,
Abundant blessings, a lush abode,
A world of beauty, pure and bright,
A haven of joy, a realm of light.
The rivers flowed, the birds took flight,
The animals roamed, a stunning sight,
Adam and Eve, in perfect bliss,
Enjoyed God's gifts, in a state of peace.
But tempted by the serpent's snare,
They ate the fruit, in a moment's dare,
Their eyes were opened, they knew shame,
And sin entered the world, with grief and blame.
Yet in His mercy, God did provide,
A plan of redemption, to turn the tide,
A promise of a Savior's birth,
To reconcile His children to the earth.
In Genesis, a story told,
Of God's creation, pure and bold,
Of human frailty, and His grace,
A testament to His love's embrace.
So let us learn, and humbly seek,
To follow God, with hearts meek,
In His design, may we find rest,
And live in harmony, truly blessed.
