More about Counting the Tribes - Numbers Chapter 1 Poem

In Numbers, Chapter One, a grand survey,
The tribes of Israel, in order array.
Counted and numbered, a chosen nation,
Prepared for the journey, with determination.
From Reuben, Simeon, and Levi's tribe,
Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, the scribe,
To Dan, Naphtali, and Gad's array,
Asher, Joseph, and Benjamin, in their display.
The census taken, a mighty host,
Assembled and ready, from coast to coast.
In the wilderness, they would dwell,
Led by God's guidance, they would excel.
The numbers tallied, a formidable sight,
God's promise to Abraham, shining bright.
In Numbers, Chapter One, the count begins,
A testament to God's faithfulness, it sings.
So let us learn from this ancient tale,
In Numbers, Chapter One's numeric tale.
God's people counted, His plan in place,
As we journey onward, in His grace.
