Gobble Til You Wobble
The turkey’s carved, the table’s set,
A feast no waistband will forget.
Mashed potatoes, gravy’s flowin’,
Pies stacked high, the chaos growin’.
Stuffing’s crammed, the cranberries jiggle,
Aunt Sue’s jokes make everyone giggle.
Uncle Bob’s belt? Already popped,
But that second plate? It can’t be stopped.
Green bean casserole, rolls of butter,
Someone drops a dish—grandma mutters.
Kids chase Pumpkin (the poor cat flees),
While Dad sneaks thirds of mac and cheese.
By dessert, we’re all in a food-stuffed trance,
Too full to talk, let alone dance.
So loosen your pants, grab pie on the double,
It’s Thanksgiving—time to gobble til you wobble!
