Warrior awakened from his sleep. Moonlight exposure. Bold secondary colors. Style of Franz Von Stuck.
A classicist oil painting depicts a fair-skinned young man with reddish-brown curly hair and rosy cheeks and lips, posed against a dark blue background with a full moon and a large crescent moon shape behind him. He is shirtless, showing his toned torso and slender arms, and wears baggy, lustrous dark teal-green trousers and dark brown boots. He is seated on a dark gray ledge, leaning back with his right arm draped over the crescent moon shape, and his left arm resting on the ledge with his hand relaxed. The man gazes to the right with a slightly melancholy expression. In the distance, dark hills and trees are visible under the moonlit sky.
