This is a story of the
Gashlycrumb twins
Who don't play with dolls
But will stick them with pins.

E is for Emma
The worst of the pair
Known for her cruelty
And flyaway hair.

G is for Gemma
Her not-better half
Who kicks pups and kittens
And all with a laugh.

H is for Harry
An unfortunate boy
That the twins decided
Would be their new toy.

D is for doornail,
and departed and dead,
which they thought was Harry,
After bashing his head.

But R is for recovery
And Harry amazed
When he approached the twins
Seemingly unfazed.

And S is for surprising,
And shotgun, and shell,
And Harry's Smith & Wesson
That blew them to hell.
