Blowing in the Wind

More about Blowing in the Wind

Wide, eye-level, horizontal painting features birch trees in a dark forest with leaves of various colors of yellow, green, and orange. In the foreground, a prominent birch tree is covered in yellow and light green leaves, its trunk and branches illuminated from the front and below. To its right, another birch tree is adorned with blue-green and yellow leaves. On the far left and right sides of the image, the foreground trees have leaves with reddish, rusty, and orange tones. Many of the leaves are blowing away in the wind, creating a sense of movement. Behind the foreground trees, the forest is dark and dense, with other birch trees visible in the shadows. The trunks of these background trees are pale gray, while their leaves are a dark, muted gray. The overall lighting is dim and dramatic, with the foreground trees glowing against the dark background.
