Cat and Castle

More about Cat and Castle

A surrealist double exposure fantasy digital painting, featuring a profile of a fluffy domestic cat layered over a medieval landscape at sunset. The cat's face, with a large, piercing amber eye, occupies the right and upper portions of the composition. Below and behind the cat's face, a majestic fantasy landscape is revealed. This landscape includes a grand Gothic castle with numerous spires and turrets, nestled among rolling hills and a winding river that flows toward the sunset on the right. A small, dragon-like creature flies through the sky on the upper left, near the castle. The scene is bathed in the warm, golden light of setting sun, with autumn-colored trees with orange and red leaves framing the composition. The sky is a gradient of blue, pink, and orange.
