A Trojan Horse, a cunning ruse,
A fateful gift, with danger infused.
Deceptive guise, a strategic ploy,
To breach the walls with covert joy.
Concealed within, an army lay,
Hidden from sight, until the day,
When gates swung wide, and horse rolled in,
The trap was set, the battle could begin.
Unsuspecting, they brought it near,
Unaware of the soldiers' sneer.
The walls were breached, the victory won,
All because of the Trojan's con.
A tale of deceit, a legendary lore,
Of a wooden horse that held much more,
A strategic move, a tactical feat,
The Trojan Horse, a deception sweet.
