The Race to Alaska (R2AK) is a 750 mile race from Port Townsend, Washington to Ketchikan, Alaska. As they say "No Motor, No Support. ALL THE WAY TO ALASKA." They would usually be wrapping things up about now, but there was no race this year. The first boats to finish are usually the big catamarans, but all sizes of craft participate. We have seen large catamarans, sailboats of all sizes, kayaks, canoes, sailboards, and even paddle boards (yep, and it finished!)
