During the 1968 ITV television strike, Wanda amused herself with a DIY aircraft/spacecraft instrument panel built from surplus Proops flight telemetry and dials such as altimeters, contactors, and radio equipment, built on a battened hardboard panel and covered with a tarpaulin, wired up to a bundle of relays and a 12 volt transformer.
