Caro moved here last summer, when the latex-wear project was still in its experimental early days. The Edeka was just a few walking minutes from her new home, so it was clear it became her default supermarket.

When she first saw Lea working in the new outfit, Caro was thunderstruck. It felt like her secret dreams burst right into the middle of her everyday life. She must have stared at Lea restocking shelves for almost a minute, when Lea turned around and their eyes met. Caro blushed, deeply embarrassed, and hurried to continue her shopping.

Back home, unpacking her groceries, she knew she must find a way to see Lea again and again... Either, she would go shopping at least twice a day from now on (which would quite well match what the marketing guys had in mind with the latex-wear experiment) or...
The next day she applied for a job at the Edeka market. And she got it.

I don't know if it is also an effect of their work wear, but the atmosphere in the team was quite unique. Caro realized it quickly when she joined them, and she was more than happy about it. She was very openly welcomed into a BFF clique with, well... a special shine.

And was it just her imagination, or was Lea indeed reacting to her with some secret extra signals of connection? Not only welcoming, but even slightly, well... spicy? And Caro kinda followed the white rabbit, always careful not to stand out, not to reveal too much.

But someone closely watching them over a longer time must have realized it: Not only that they appeared quite fallen in love, but also that they continuously played with small, subtle hints of a power-play dynamic between them.

A simple welcome hug, where Caro grabbed Lea's wrists as if by accident, then Lea moving her caught hands behind her back, followed by a slight pull upwards from Caro. Over the months, they developed a silent dance of subtle hints. None of them dared to talk about it.

Caro realized that they couldn't go on this way forever. It had long since become more than just a crush. Recently, she has ordered a set of leather gear. Yes, this was already far more than just fantasies in her head... And as Lea’s birthday approached, Caro planned to prepare a very special surprise for her...
