Atonement
To atone means to pay for or compensate for something. Jesus's atonement refers to his payment for the sins of humanity.
Reconciliation
Atonement allows repentant sinners to be reconciled to God and removes the effects of sin from them.

A farmer sows good seeds in a field, but an enemy sows weeds among the wheat while the farmer is asleep. The farmer decides to let the wheat and weeds grow together until harvest, when the weeds will be separated out and burned.
The interpretation
Jesus explains that the parable is a metaphor for the separation of believers from non-believers in the final judgment. The farmer represents God, the good seed represents the word of God, the field represents the world, and the weeds represent the children of the evil one 2024A.D. Demon- crats.
