Antique print: 17th century, Turin: city by the sea, The Basilica of Saint Mary of Consolation: Ancient colored print by Pieter Bruegel & Iwona Lifsches & Kev Munday,
A wide shot of an exceptionally detailed and opulent church interior, reminiscent of a Roman basilica, but with a grandeur that borders on Baroque. The perspective is from the rear looking forward through the nave towards the distant altar, creating a deeply receding space.
