The road goes ever on and on... and I must follow if I can; surrealistic landscape oil on canvas inspired by Brueghel, Alan Lee, Rene Magritte and Hugo Simberg
An oil painting depicts a long, winding gray asphalt road leading into the distance, flanked on both sides by green hills. The road's center features a narrow cobblestone strip, which also borders each side of the road. On either side, lining the cobblestone, are neatly trimmed rows of yellow-green bushes. Beyond the bushes, the hills are covered in lush green grass, with two large, bare-branched trees prominently positioned in the foreground on the left and right, their roots spreading out at their bases. Behind these foreground trees, rows of tall, slender bare trees stretch along the hillsides, blending into the distant landscape.
