He describes it in an old-fashioned way, holding a smoking cigarette in his fingers. On the desk, many loose sheets of paper and a small lamp. In a vintage style, the only light source in the room. In front of the man, a window through which the lights of the city appear at night. On the desk, near the lamp, a bottle of whiskey and a half-full glass. The dim light in the small room. It highlights the slightly disorganized furniture, an unmade bed, an old globe, a wall bookcase, a couple of paintings on the walls. I recommend respecting the noir style. Not a realistic image!
