A high-angle photo of a heavily textured impasto oil painting depicts a fantasy woodland village with rounded, organic houses nested amongst gnarled trees and foliage, done in a palette of deep browns, forest greens, maroons, and warm yellows, giving the entire piece a tangible, 3D relief quality with thick brushstrokes and sculptural ridges, hinting at magical dwellings under a dim, otherworldly sky.
