Shattered reflection, broken glass,
A glimpse of a life that's come to pass.
A mirror that once showed a bright face,
Now distorted, leaving no trace.
Cracks and splinters, tell of pain,
Of dreams that withered, but not in vain.
Shattered reflection, stark reminder,
Of a life that's been torn asunder.
Yet in its broken state it can create,
A new image, with a different fate.
A chance to see life in a different hue,
To find the strength and start anew.
