Ornithomancy was praciced by seers, prophets, and oracles, focusing on the particular bird species, behavior, call and flight patterns As depicted by Gustav Klimt and Michael Parkes.
A stunning low-angle high-detail digital painting of a beautiful redhead Renaissance princess with a gold circlet of golden leaves in her hair, sitting barefoot on a gnarled tree branch in the middle of a golden afternoon over a breathtaking view of distant mountains. She wears a flowing off-the-shoulder cream-colored dress with a blue corset with elegant gold accents, a loose bodice, and long sleeves. She gently holds her arm up and out, supporting a white bird with its wings spread open as if resting from flight. She looks gently down at another brown bird perched on her lap. Next to her, a serene white owl looks out into the landscape. On the other side of her, an additional woven bag or pouch shaped like an owl rests on the branch. The overall scene is peaceful and ethereal, with soft, warm lighting.
