In South Dakota, a legend is told,
Of a creature ancient, and wise and bold.
The Taku-He, a beast of the plains,
With eyes that gleam in the sunlit rains.
Its coat of fur, as black as night,
Camouflages it in the prairie's light.
Its hooves, so swift, make no sound,
As it roams the grasslands, wide and profound.
Some say it's a spirit, a guardian grand,
Of the land it roams, a mystical band.
With wisdom deep, and ancient lore,
The Taku-He, a legend to explore.
Though sightings rare, and tales so old,
The Taku-He's story, it still unfolds.
A creature of mystery, a myth so grand,
In South Dakota's vast and wondrous land.
