https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFI0JHDK49M
Part of a series of me converting songs l like into comic strips...
Prompt: Hyperrealstic Vibrant Colours, a comix-style whimsical adventure-story cartoon strip, with six frames titled "7000 Dollars and You" In bold semi-3d dollar bill patterned text. The comic strip features Russell Thompkins Jr. the lead singer of the Stylistics (aged 26) in 1977 wearing a flamboyant purple velvet jacket and singing about how well he'd treat his beautiful girlfriend if only he had any money. Each frame is appropriately sequential and captioned
You are so beautiful, but I'm an ordinary guy and my pockets are empty.
If I had seven thousand dollars and you. I'd dress you up like a star, rent us a Cadillac car
If I had 50 thousand dollars and you I'd back a show on Broadway and you could be in the play
If I had a hundred thousand dollars and you. I'd buy my own private plane We'd spend our weekends in Spain
But if I had a million dollars, baby, I don't need you!
When you think of all that money, honey! I'm sure you can understand I don't need you!
A detailed whimsical funny retro comic strip in the style of VIZ Magazine & Drew Struzan & Mike Ploog.
