A drummer mid-strike, device D6: an off-centre rectangle of flat saturated cobalt sitting behind the head only, the rest of the figure on bone white. Four layers back to front: the bone sheet, the cobalt block, a broad black mass carrying the shadowed side of the face and arms, and a fine top pass of granular breakup along each boundary.
