A rococo painting depicts a young woman in a pink dress on a swing, pushing her leg out towards a man lying on the ground, who is looking up at her with his arms outstretched. Her pink shoe is falling off her foot into his hands. An older man is pushing her swing. To the left is a stone statue of Cupid, and to the right is a cherub on the ground. The background is a dark forest with a light blue sky in the distance. The woman is wearing a straw hat with flowers and ribbons. Her dress is made of pink silk with white lace trim. The man on the ground is wearing a grey suit with white ruffles on his shirt and cuffs. The older man pushing the swing is wearing dark clothing. The cherub on the ground is looking down at a basket of flowers. There are pink and white roses on the bushes in the foreground. The overall mood of the painting is playful and romantic.
