Inspired byMasterful alla prima oil painting, loose confident brushwork, wet-on-wet handling, expressive visible strokes in selective places instead of uniformly, selective impasto in the highlights, luminous warm interior light, broken color, many lost-and-found edges, gestural figure painting, painterly realism, painterly, naturalistic anatomy, intimate and spontaneous atmosphere. Seen mostly from behind, a petite auburn haired woman with very long slightly curly hair, dark top and skirt, shoes, one hand lightly on the railing against the wall, half way down a staircase leading into a basement, the light behind her warm and safe, while the basement below falls into blackness, dimly lit only by the glow of some creeping-out tentacles and cute, friendly, furry monsters lingering in the dark. Palette of muted umber, charcoal, warm ivory, dusty blue-gray, auburn, a little amber. No added text, no border.
Such a wonderfully dark corner - I had to try this again.
I just added the word "cute", everything else stayed as in my last "Try" on this.
Many thanks 🙏 to @Ev for the inspiration, and to @Kiera for modeling! 🤗🤗

Digital painting, high angle shot of a long hair red haired woman in black dress standing on wooden stairs and looking down into the dark basement. Several small strange creatures with big round eyes and furry bodies are standing in the basement in the dark.
