March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.
The weather proverb used here as the prompt, has been around since the 1700's. In addition to referencing the March winter to spring transition in the Northern Hemisphere (early March, fierce, biting cold, and late March, mild and meek), it may also refer to the constellations Leo and Aries. We'll find out, weather-wise, in a few weeks, if the adage holds true.
