Prompt

A watercolor and Ink masterpiece, heavily washed effect, faded edges, dreamy, delicate blending, ethereal, emotional depth, watercolor medium, contrasting shadows, soft textures, evocative atmosphere. Three people sitting on a corner sofa in a living room. The center person is a mid-twenties trans woman, shoulder-long blonde hair, sad expression, wearing a classic t-shirt in trans pride colors, a grey below-the-knee jersey skirt and rainbow stockings, cuddling an IKEA shark. She is surrounded and embraced by her mid-fifties parents, both looking at her lovingly and worried, on the left a man with messy short dark hair, stubble beard and dark-framed glasses wearing a black hoodie, black jeans and black socks, on the right a woman with short blond hair, slightly messy strands, purple-framed glasses, less tall than the other two persons, wearing a dark red hoodie with washed-out cozy-bear image, blue jeans and black socks. The center person is shadowed, surrounded and slightly faded by a mighty dark foggy cloud.

More about Comforting Our Daughter - #Diversity Saturday (alternative version)

This is to all the queer people that we don't see as energetic, powerful, radiating queer-rights fighters and beacons of the community. Those who find it difficult to even go out of the house at all. Those who go through dark valleys of helpless, powerless, depressive feelings, or even depressions in a medical sense. Who carry heavy burdens from their school time through their young adult lives and can't just put it down.

And to their friends and families, who try to help as good as they can, but hurtfully experience their limitations in this. And especially to the parents, whose sorrows and loving pain often mixes with questions like: Have I failed to help earlier, early enough? What did we do wrong? Is it my fault that it came to this dark, seemingly hopeless situation?

I feel an urge to add this:
This is not just any expression of queer allyship from my side.
This is the most personal dream I've ever shared here.

Here I used the exact same prompt as for "If I could just directly beam some of my energy into you".

The only difference is the AI model I used.

ChatGPT2 was more exact with some prompt details (skirt length, corner soda), but the in my eyes most important difference is how it spread the darkness. It seemed to "understand" that the feeling of sadness and helplessness filled the whole room.
Her lack of hope made the world feel darker also for us parents.
And in this dark situation, ChatGPT2 provided us with a warm light, a hot drink, and - how nice is that? - a tissue dispenser. 🖤🖤🖤

Originally, I wanted to keep the original title and just number the versions, but then the AI generated title proposal was such a good match that I kept it.

Watercolor painting with ink outlines of a family sitting on a couch. The father with grey hair, a beard, and glasses, and mother with blonde hair and purple glasses, sit on either side of a distressed young woman with blonde hair, who holds a stuffed shark. The father and mother have their hands on the young woman's arms, comforting her. The young woman is wearing a t-shirt with pink, white, and blue stripes and rainbow-striped stockings. She wears a grey skirt. Her head is bowed in sadness. The father is dressed in a black hoodie and black pants. The mother is dressed in a maroon hoodie with a teddy bear on it and blue jeans. They are on a couch in a living room, with a dark, cloudy watercolor background behind them.
