Epigenetics experiments in rats show that baby rats develop traits like aggression genetically according to the the (perceived) situation of their parents.
If the parent lives in fear, the offspring is hard wired for aggression and they will pass that on to their children as well. A genetic switch has been thrown..
It doesn´t matter for the brain if you suffer for real, or just in your head. So stress will trigger this evolutionary response.
We owe it to our children not to get hooked on stress and urgency, not to continue this spiral of suffering ever outwards.
