In a corner of the kitchen, late at night,
Sat a clever little cat, eyes shining bright.
A vending machine stood, glowing with light,
Filled with plump, juicy mice—what a sight!
The cat rubbed his chin, tail flicking with glee,
"Which mouse should I choose? Oh, what a spree!"
Row one had a mouse, fat and round,
But row two’s was sleek, with barely a sound.
Row three had a mouse with a cheese hat on,
While row four’s had stripes, as if drawn with a crayon.
“Do I want a snack or a friend for a chat?
Oh, decisions, decisions,” purred the puzzled cat.
He paced back and forth, eyes darting in awe,
Every mouse looked tastier than the last he saw.
"Perhaps I'll take two," he mused with a purr,
"One for my tummy, and one just to purr!"
But then with a clink, the machine’s light dimmed,
The cat’s whiskers twitched, his vision rimmed.
With a sigh and a yawn, he curled up tight,
“I’ll decide tomorrow—it’s a cat’s right!”
