Karma Akabane, Kaede Kayano & Nagisa Shiota, also known as the assassin trio, were the top 3 assassins in the capital of Edo, under the command of the Shogun. Karma Akabane & Kaede Kayano were well-known for the concealment used over their faces. Karma Akabane would use pure white paint on his face & black paint over his eyes, while Kaede Kayano preferred wearing a golden skull mask to hide his identity. Nagisa Shiota, on the contrary, did none of those, as none of his victims, who had seen his face, could live long enough to tell the tale.
