An exquisite fine-art portrait of a contemplative young woman, her eyes gently closed, her head bowed over an abundant bouquet of wildflowers held tenderly against her face. Long, loosely tousled dark hair falls in delicate strands around her cheeks. She wears a soft, oversized ivory knitted sweater, slipping gently off one shoulder. Her face, hair, hands, and clothing are rendered in intricate graphite pencil and delicate charcoal, with fine cross-hatching, expressive sketch lines, and subtle paper grain. The bouquet alone bursts into delicate colour: a blush-pink garden rose, creamy-white anemones with deep violet centres, tiny golden-yellow blossoms, muted lavender flowers, and soft green foliage. Fine stems cascade naturally between her fingers. The flowers partially veil her face, creating an intimate feeling of privacy and unspoken emotion. Warm ivory handmade paper, subtle pencil smudges, unfinished sketch edges, delicate botanical detail, restrained colour accents, romantic melancholy, poetic fine-art illustration, tactile drawing texture, non-photorealistic.
Pour l’amour qui demeure, pour celui qui s’en est allé, et pour les souvenirs qui refleurissent à l’abri des regards.
