Or said more nicely:
Driven by a collective ambition to reach the heavens, humankind embarked on the construction of a colossal tower. This audacious endeavor, however, sparked divine displeasure. As punishment, the gods diversified human speech, creating a tapestry of languages that served to divide rather than unite.
