Calico Cat and Still Life Fruit

More about Calico Cat and Still Life Fruit

A still life image shows a calico cat sitting on a rustic wooden table beside a bowl of fruit. The cat is facing the camera, with its body angled to the left, its tail curled around its feet. It has striking green eyes and a mix of orange, black, and white fur. To the right of the cat is a large, weathered blue bowl filled with a variety of fruit, including grapes, an orange, a red apple, a peach, and pears, some with green leaves still attached. Several individual fruits, including a pear, a sliced fig, and a whole fig, are scattered on the table in front of the bowl. Behind the fruit bowl are two earthenware jugs of different sizes and shapes, with rustic, mottled brown finishes. To the left, a multi-paned window lets in natural light, with a green vine with leaves climbing up the frame. The wall behind the scene is textured and mottled in shades of beige and brown, giving the impression of an old, plaster wall.
