In Egypt's land, a story told,
Of brothers' hearts, once hard and cold,
A tale of strife, of jealousy,
Turned into a journey of unity.
Joseph, once sold as a slave,
Now stood before them, strong and brave,
His brothers trembled, guilt-ridden,
As Joseph spoke, their hearts were smitten.
"I am Joseph, your brother dear,"
He said with love, to their surprise and fear,
"Though you meant harm, God's plan was grand,
To save our family, by His hand."
His brothers wept, with joy and grief,
As Joseph offered them relief,
Forgiveness flowed from his heart,
A new beginning, a brand new start.
He embraced them all, with tears of grace,
Reconciliation, in that very place,
Their strife and enmity, now undone,
God's providence, brightly sun.
A tale of redemption, a story so bright,
From jealousy and hatred, to love's pure light,
In Genesis 45, a lesson profound,
Of forgiveness, reconciliation found.
