Post-traumatic stress disorder
An abstract oil painting features a detailed, pale white male face with striking blue undertones, appearing as if it's dissolving or emerging from a textured, dark red and deep blue background. The red areas are characterized by splatters, drips, and intricate organic patterns that resemble veins or roots, creating a sense of decay or eruption around the head. The blue and white portions of the background have a cloudy, atmospheric quality with subtle paint drips running vertically. In the bottom left corner, two small, dark, silhouetted figures stand on a flat, reflective surface that could be water or ice, against a pale blue horizon, suggesting a vast, desolate landscape beneath the dramatic, abstract portrait. The overall composition creates a powerful and haunting visual narrative.
