ArtistA richly expressive acrylic and ink painting of the Forest of Huelgoat in Brittany, France, with enormous moss-covered granite boulders, ancient twisted trees, lush ferns and a rushing stream winding through the rocks. A small stone bridge crosses the water, with a charming old Breton cottage hidden among the trees in the background. Thick, wet acrylic paint combined with abundant black ink, in your expressive palette-knife style. Heavy impasto, bold black outlines, spontaneous ink strokes, dripping paint, vibrant colors and intense luminous contrasts. Emerald greens, cobalt blues, deep violets, luminous yellows and touches of warm orange. Richly textured rocks, expressive foliage, reflections in the water, and a poetic, slightly dreamlike atmosphere. Acrylic and ink ++, thick painterly texture, energetic brushwork, strong artistic composition, vivid colors, dramatic light filtering through the forest, beautiful imperfections and a powerful handmade quality. No people, no text, no borders, no frame, no photographic realism.
