ArtistA forest spirit inspired by regional folklore traditions. Witch, Appalachian, Kentucky. Superstition
Medium shot, frontal eye-level view of a middle-aged female with long, unruly graying hair decorated with leaves, moss, feathers, and bones, holding a wooden staff embellished with bones and dried flowers, and looking directly into the camera with a neutral expression in a mysterious forest filled with glowing fireflies. She has fair skin with some dirt on her cheeks. She is wearing a dark greenish-gray knitted woolen sweater, a green and gray shawl, a beaded necklace, and a patchworked skirt. The forest is dense with bare trees, green foliage, and fallen leaves on the ground. The lighting is dim and diffused, with a cool, misty atmosphere.
