ArtistIllustration of finely detailed white and light green flower spider perched on a NorthEastern garden with painterly rudbeckia setting with textures of common rudbeckia (a Indian Summer) in the background. This view is from an above side angle. We can see the legs clearly as the spider is perched in a perfect pose hugging the cone. . The petals and cone contrast with the white and green spider, and have depth. Intricate details and shading separate the flower and spider.

This image, created September 11, 2026, is based on an original photograph base work of a wild flower spider aka crab spider, and by Sproutfuel2 all rights reserved 2026.
A close-up, high-angle shot captures a pale green crab spider, partially obscured by the dark brown, spiky cone of a yellow rudbeckia sunflower. The spider's body is light green, almost white, with its eight legs extending around the flower's center. Its segmented abdomen is prominent, showing faint horizontal lines and a slight indentation. A small, yellow and black insect, possibly a wasp, is visible on the flower's spiky center, near the spider. The flower's petals, vibrant yellow, are out of focus in the background, creating a bright contrast with the dark center and the pale spider. The spiky center of the flower has a rough texture, with numerous tiny, white, seed-like particles scattered across its surface. The overall composition emphasizes the spider's camouflage and its interaction with the flower and the small insect.
