Based on a photo I took of an azure-winged magpie in flight. Surrealist painting of a magpie flying over a desolate desert landscape. The bird has a long, pointed beak, a dark head, and its body is morphing into various abstract shapes. Its wings are composed of rigid feathers that shatter and dissolve into melting trails of liquid. The long tail feathers transform into human hands and a dripping, translucent fabric-like shape. An ear and a pocket watch with intricate gears are suspended from the bird. Above the bird, a swirling, white translucent ribbon floats in the air. The desert is sparse with abstract monuments and structures.
