Mountain Lake Gathering

More about Mountain Lake Gathering

An oil painting on canvas depicting a group of people by a lake in the mountains. In the center, a man with a beard and hat leans on a wooden walking stick, looking towards the viewer. To his right, another man sits on a log, wearing a red shirt and blue pants. Further right, a third bearded man in a hat sits on a log, looking towards the left. To the left of the central man, a woman with a white head covering sits on a tree stump, looking down. Behind her, another woman with a white head covering stands, holding a small object. To the far left, a bearded man in a hat stands, looking towards the right. The group is gathered on the shore of a large blue lake, with snow-capped mountains and evergreen forests in the background under a blue sky with some white clouds. Large pine trees frame the scene on the left, and a woven basket sits on the ground near the center.
