In a little village called San Miguel in Mexico, they have this custom; a committee is formed by men young to old, they are inducted when they are teenagers and continue every year as long as they can. On Noche de Muertos the committee will go to each house where one of the residents died that year. They will make a floral arrangement in the form of a horse by tying fresh flowers on a wire frame. The following day, the family will take the horse to the cemetery and have a feast there to see their dearly departed off. For they believe that the horse will help carry their loved ones to where they are supposed to rest.
