More about Pharaoh's Dreams - Genesis 41 Poem

Pharaoh, ruler of Egypt's land
Received a dream, by God's own hand
A vision strange, a mystery
None could interpret, none could see
His cupbearer then spoke with awe
Of Joseph's gift, his dreams foresaw
In prison cell, he had been told
Of Pharaoh's dream, both strange and bold
Pharaoh sent for Joseph's aid
To understand the dreams he made
Joseph, filled with wisdom rare
Interpreted with God's own care
Seven fat cows, seven lean
Seven good ears, seven mean
The dreams revealed, a coming fate
Years of plenty, years of straits
Joseph urged Pharaoh to prepare
For famine's grip, a time of despair
To store up grain, in plenty's days
To tide them over, in leaner ways
Pharaoh, wise, heeded the call
Appointed Joseph o'er Egypt's hall
A trusted leader, wise and just
To oversee the task, with God's own trust
In Genesis 41, a story told
Of dreams and visions, mysteries bold
Of Joseph's rise, from prison low
To Pharaoh's side, with wisdom's glow.
