Oh, the dreaded bed bugs, small and sly,
They come out at night, when we close our eyes,
Creeping and crawling, in the darkness they hide,
Feasting on our blood, with voracious pride.
They lurk in the mattress, and the cracks in the floor,
They multiply fast, an infestation to endure,
Their bites leave us itchy, with red marks to show,
In our own cozy haven, they've begun to grow.
We toss and we turn, in discomfort and dread,
As these tiny pests, invade our bed,
We try sprays and powders, and vacuum with might,
But those resilient bed bugs, refuse to take flight.
With frustration and disgust, we wage the fight,
To reclaim our sleep, and restore our nights,
We wash and we dry, on high heat and long,
To kill those bugs, and make them all gone.
So, beware of the bed bugs, and stay alert,
For they can infiltrate, and make you hurt,
Keep your bedding clean, and inspect with care,
To keep your sleep sanctuary, bug-free and fair.
