This illustration reminds me of when I was a kid, and my brothers began building a tree house, which wasn't much to look at, but they had high hopes for making a palace in the sky, until it was abandoned not long after they started.
I don't think it would have approached these wonderful living spaces, which seems to include a red schoolhouse there in the middle, plus some cute little potted plants balanced on the wooden beams. Fun fun fun, to be sure!
