ArtistVippter. Quilliotte P. Vippter watches himself in a surreal faucet, surrounded by lead balls perched on a soap bar, his body draped in twisted iron vines of Puerto Rican make. Tiny calves launch enamel‑coated petanque balls made of ultra‑fine webs filled with mega‑playful parasites, while transparent flags flutter like rolling sea water during a great tide. A wavy crack ripples out from the plush‑covered banjo’s rear, and Quilliotte, visibly annoyed, faces a peppery Breton figure standing before him. The whole scene bursts with vivid, surreal color.
A surreal scene where a large, silver faucet floats in the middle of a choppy, bright blue ocean on a giant bar of soap. Resting underneath the faucet's spouts are several brightly colored plastic spheres, including a red one, a blue one, a green one, a gold one, and one painted with the blue and yellow colors of the Ukrainian flag. A banjo with a bright pink, furry neck leans against the left side of the frame, half-submerged in the water. To the right, a small, toy-like boy in a black hat, red shirt, and blue shorts stands on the edge of the soap, looking at the faucet. Several small flags are stuck into the soap, including the Ukrainian flag, the British Red Ensign, and a few plain, translucent white flags. The background is a clear blue sky transitioning to a soft orange and pink gradient at the horizon.
