Desert Assembly in Oil

More about Desert Assembly in Oil

An oil painting depicts six people and a seated woman in a flat, arid landscape under a clear blue sky with a few wispy white clouds. The ground is a sandy yellow, with visible brushstrokes creating a textured surface. In the center, a man in a dark suit with a red tie stands with his arms raised, his hands forming a rounded shape above his head. To his left, another man in a dark suit and tie gestures toward the seated woman with his right hand extended, his left arm at his side. The seated woman wears a long-sleeved light blue dress and sits on the ground with her legs extended to the right, looking up and to the right. To the right of the central man, a woman in a light purple dress stands facing left with her right arm outstretched. Further right, a man in a red trench coat and hat stands facing left, with a man in a blue shirt and grey hat standing slightly behind him to his right. In the distant background, a small, dark figure appears to be standing or crouching near a low structure on the horizon. The lighting casts long, dark shadows on the ground to the right of each figure.
