More about The Old Cast Iron Pan Poem

Oh, sturdy pan of iron cast,
A relic of the ages past,
Inherit'd from a bygone kin,
Thy story makes my heart begin.
Through years of meals, thou hast been worn,
Thy seasoned coat, a treasure borne,
From bacon's sizzle, to cornbread's rise,
Thou've seen it all, thy strength belies.
Thy handle, worn from many a grip,
Thy heft, a weighty iron ship,
Yet thou art loved with deepest care,
Thou art a kitchen masterpiece rare.
From campfire's blaze to stovetop's flame,
Thou'rt ever faithful, still the same,
Thou cook'st with heat that's even, true,
Thou'rt prized by chefs, both old and new.
Though scars of battle mark thy face,
Thou'rt seasoned well, with time and grace,
Thy flavors deepen, thy taste refined,
As generations dine and dine.
Oh, cast iron pan, thou art a treasure,
A kitchen heirloom, beyond measure,
Thy legacy, enduring, grand,
Forever cherished in our pan-loving land.
