In Joshua Chapter 24, we see,
God's people gathered, before Him knee,
Joshua spoke, with voice so clear,
A message they all needed to hear.
He reminded them of God's great grace,
How He led them, in every place,
From Abraham to Egypt's land,
And brought them out, with mighty hand.
He spoke of God's faithfulness,
Through trials, battles, and wilderness,
How He provided, day by day,
Guiding them, in His perfect way.
Joshua urged them to choose this day,
Whom they would serve, and not delay,
To put away their idols and sin,
And wholeheartedly, to God, begin.
The people answered, with one voice,
"We will serve the Lord, our perfect choice,
For He alone, is worthy of praise,
We will follow Him, all our days."
A covenant they made that day,
To serve the Lord, come what may,
In Joshua Chapter 24, we find,
A call to faith, of one united mind.
So let us too, choose God's covenant way,
With hearts devoted, without delay,
Following Him, in love and awe,
Obeying His commands, with reverence and awe.
